Our Produce

We take pride in the quality of our produce and go to great lengths to ensure that’s it’s something our customers can be proud to serve.

No produce company can make a claim of quality without putting quality produce purchasing first.  At The Garden, we receive shipments of fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis utilizing hundreds of vendors.  With food safety being a high priority, each shipment arrives on sealed trucks or by rail car to prevent unwanted tampering.  Our commitment to providing the highest-quality produce is evident by our annual inspection by Cooke-Thurber for food safety and handling.

After inspecting the product, we then stock each item at the appropriate temperature and humidity level to preserve freshness.  Our produce is purchased from local farmers, grower-shippers from across the United States and even from across the world.  We offer a wide selection of fruits and vegetables covering everything from melons and berries to lettuces of all kinds and of course our specialty, fresh vine ripened tomatoes.  If a fruit or vegetable is in season, we either have it in stock or we can get it within a day or two.
